Driving theory preparation

How Sally's Can Help

At Sally's Driving School our driving instructors are fully committed to helping you with theory and hazard perception. Our driving instructors actively encourage you to recall and apply driving theory as part of what you see and do on the road during your practical driving lessons. Some people may experience difficulty with the driving theory - not a problem! Sally's driving instructors are trained and qualified to provide the driving theory help necessary to get you through your theory test. We are happy to book driving theory tutorials or a theory test practise tutorial with you at your home, or a place of your choice.

Theory Test Study Material

At Sally's, we strongly believe it is important that you study, not only to pass the theory hazard perception test, but also to become a safe driver.

Regardless of driving experience, candidates should make full use of the available study material to prepare for the multiple choice and hazard perception parts of the theory test.

Sally's School of Motoring recommends that all candidates study: (available from most High Street book stores and online stores)

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) will send a DVD called "Are you ready?" which explains the process of taking the driving theory test with your first theory test booking confirmation letter.

For more information on study material, see our links page.

Practice Tests

It's easy to become complacent with theory test questions. Why not take advantage of the practice theory test questions online to see just how good you really are or where you need to study more. Remember, answering theory test questions in the comfort of your own home is much easier than under exam conditions at the theory test centre.

Practice Multiple Choice Questions Online

The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) provide an online service that allows you to test your knowledge and understanding.
