Medical Requirements
There are strict rules regarding driver licensing and driving medical
restrictions. Any medical conditions or driving disability which could affect
your driving ability must be reported by law to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing
Agency (DVLA). This applies to new licence applications as well as changes of
circumstance.

Driving Eyesight Requirements
Before you learn to drive, make sure you know the eyesight requirements. If you need to wear glasses, corrective lenses or contact lenses to see, it's a legal requirement that you wear them each time you drive.
When applying for a driving licence and at the beginning of your practical
driving lessons or test, you will be required to demonstrate your ability to
read a modern vehicle registration plate from a distance of 20 metres.
