Intensive Tuition
At Sally's Residential Driving School, we select top driving instructors with
excellent teaching standards. Each driving instructor is Driving Standards
Agency (DSA) approved and CRB police checked. Sally's Driving Instructors are
flexible and adaptable making driving lessons and intensive learning fun.
A Stay in the Country
Somerset in the West Country is a beautiful place to stay while you are taking
residential driving lessons. West country towns are a perfect venue for your
practical residential driving test.
Learning a new skill in a relaxed atmosphere away from everyday distractions on one of our residential intensive driving courses in this type of setting has been proven to maximize your learning potential and increase your concentration.
Your residential driving lessons will begin on quiet rural roads moving on to build your confidence with traffic in urban areas.
Drive in a Week
Sally's intensive residential driving courses enable you to learn to drive in a
week and our Semi intensive residential driving courses are popular if you need
a little more time. Whatever your decision, we will make your residential course
fun and interesting.
At Sally's, we like to help as much as we can so once your Sally's instructor has agreed a course date with you, details of reasonably priced local accommodation will be provided.

Lynx Residential Course
This course includes the DSA theory and hazard perception test booking fee.
Ideal for someone who has little or no driving experience and needs to pass the
theory test, this course is an excellent start for all learner drivers enabling
your instructor to assess the level of further tuition you may require to
achieve the DSA driving test standard. On completion your instructor can tailor
a course for you. See 'Cheetah Course' below for details. You will take your
theory test after you return home at a test centre local to you. This is
pre-arranged by your Sally's driving instructor before you complete this course.

Puma Residential Course
As you have passed your theory and hazard perception test and have little
or no driving experience, Sally's recommend our Puma course as best value for
money. This course gives you 28 hours of driving instruction and 3 hours for the
practical driving test day.

Cougar Residential Course
As you have passed your theory, Sally's cougar course is ideal for someone
who has a few hours driving experience and feels confident with their progress.
Included are 20 hours of driving tuition and 3 hours for the practical test day.

Jaguar Residential Course
Now you have passed your theory test, our Jaguar course is ideal for
someone already well on the way to the required DSA test standard. The course
includes 16 hours of driving tuition plus 3 hours for the practical test day.
- 4 x 4 hour blocks, plus 3 hours for day of test, or
- 2 x 8 hour blocks, plus 3 hours for day of test, or
- Choose you own blocks - sessions must be for a minimum of four hours each.
Cheetah Residential Course
You already have a fair amount of driving experience and have passed your theory
and hazard perception test. We recommend you take an initial lesson with a
Sally's driving instructor to assess your driving skills. After the initial
lesson, your Sally's driving instructor can arrange a course especially tailored
for you to meet the required DSA practical driving test standard. Once agreed,
your Sally's instructor will make all the arrangements and bookings at a time to
suit.
Cheetah Residential Customised Course:
- 1 x 4 hour block
- 1 x 8 hour block (this can be taken as 1 x 8 hour day course or 2 x 4 hour day courses)
- 1 x 12 hour block (this can be taken as 2 x 6 hour day courses or 3 x 4 hour day courses)
- Choose you own blocks - sessions must be for a minimum of four hours each.
Sally's Instructors are very flexible and lessons can be booked in many variations. Lesson blocks do not have to be on consecutive days.
